New and improved! This Delta 15-inch Planer now has an improved stand with built-in extension roller tables. The rollers keep material moving freely and easily for smoother cutting. A three-knife cutterhead provides 15,000 cuts per minute for an excellent finish. Two feed rates are available, allowing you to match the cuts-per-inch to the application. The three-horsepower induction motor provides plenty of power and drives the cutterhead using 3 V-belts for smooth per transmission. An oil-bath gearbox and chain and sprocket drive deliver power to the feed rolls for long-lasting, positive feeding. The cutterhead and motor are supported by four beefy corner posts for stability. A large hand wheel raises and lowers the cutting unit for easy adjustments. Knife installation is made simple with jackscrews which are used to fine-tune knife height before tightening. With a capacity of 6-1/2 inches by 15 inches, this planer can handle a variety of planing tasks. Two year limited warranty on machines, parts, and accessories.
